News Update

We have some AWESOME News: Bruce Cameron will be our opening night keynote speaker.
His books include: 8 Simple Rules for Dating my Daughter, Dogs of Christmas, A Dog’s Purpose, A Dog’s Journey etc., many of them on the NYT bestseller list. 8 Rules for Dating my Daughter was a TV series starring the late John Ritter. His writing is smart, sensitive and wonderful.

Also, Gordon Kirkland has offered to do several private sessions with writers and their first few pages.
Register for the conference and then send us those pages. We’ll forward them to him!

Did you know that we have over a dozen agents, publishers and editors attending the Windsor International Writers Conference in November. They will all be leaders at the Intensive Roundtables during the pre-conference day activities and listening to the first five hundred words of your stories. Some of them will be on panels discussing what makes a killer query letter and their pet peeves about clients. Many are staying for the entire conference so you can chat with them. Sign up now! Space is limited for the pre-conference. We also have Chuck Sambuchino, Writers Digest’s maven on query letters. He has graciously volunteered to read and edit ten query letters while he’s around so send them in! Gord Kirkland has offered to read the first 500 words of several submissions as well!

Surprise Special! After registering for the conference send in your query letters. The first ten will be given to our Keynote speaker, Chuck Sambuchino the maven of mavens of Query letters, who has graciously agreed to meet with these lucky ten for fifteen minutes each and critique their letter. An incredible opportunity!
